To all 11th grade students:  Please try to leave a comment on the blog. If you’d like, leave me one essential question (something you think hard about).  I’m thinking that most of you have blogs and will be able to log-on.  Let me know if it isn’t true.
To all 9th grade students:  Welcome to the world of blogging. As soon as you have i.d. numbers and e-mail access, we’ll be able to add you to the blog. If you don’t have an e-mail account, let me know and I’ll send you to Mr. McPhee for info on how to obtain a free account.

Meanwhile:  here’s one of my favorite books for this month: The Invention of Hugo Cabret

Well one thing that has always troubled my mind is something i dont think many people think about now and days. Why am I me? In other words, why wasnt I a chick or why wasnt the president son, or the kings son. So that is one the thing that really scramles my head. Why do I have the religion beliefs I do now?

Freddy’s question is a very interesting one. I suppose different perspectives provide different answers: A scientist might say: it’s genes that make you you. Your mother might say, “It’s your father’s family!” Someone else might say that the fact that you live in Northridge,CA (or thereabouts) is why you are you. What perspective would you take?
